SPECIAL – Tickets are still available for Tell Me the Truth About Love, a cabaret performance coming up, appropriately, the Friday before Valentine’s Day.

TELL ME THE TRUTH ABOUTLOVE

“We are really excited for it, both because of the repertoire and the venue,” writes Jennifer Carter, a member of Lyric Niagara.

The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts is a former church that has been made into a multi-purpose arts centre in historic Ridgeway.

In addition to hosting concerts and the Fort Erie Arts Council’s gallery, it is home to the Brimstone Brewery and Crave Local Fresh, a farm to table restaurant. If one contacts the venue directly, a package deal is available to have dinner and the concert. (Phone: 1 289 321 0502, or email: thesanctuaryarts@gmail.com)

The repertoire for Tell Me the Truth About Love is mostly Broadway selections, with some classical and golden age jazz standards mixed in.

“We will cover the whole spectrum of love, from the heartbreak of misplaced affections to the joy of falling in true love,” Carter writes.

Tickets for the Friday, February 12 performance are available from The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts, or online at https://www.ticketscene.ca/events/14635/
