SOSSA Semi-Finals At ND Thursday

WELLAND – The teams are set for SOSSA senior boys basketball AAA semi-finals Thursday evening at Notre Dame’s Dillon Hall.

Last night at McMaster University in Hamilton, Sir Allan MacNab Lions knocked off Saltfleet Storm 75-53 to advance to the SOSSA semi-finals here in Welland. Saltfleet led 47-45 after three, but the Lions poured in 30 points in the final quarter for the win.

The Lions will meet A. N. Myer Marauders of Niagara Falls in the 7:30 p.m. game in Dillon Hall.

In the 6 p.m. opener, Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish will play Grimsby’s Blessed Trinity Thunder.

The winners of the two semi-final games will meet Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Dillon Hall to decide the SOSSA champion.
