Rainfall Warning For Welland, Area

Rainfall warning in effect for:

  • Niagara Falls – Welland – Southern Niagara Region
  • St. Catharines – Grimsby – Northern Niagara Region

Rain, heavy at times is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

Rain, heavy at times, is forecast to begin Wednesday morning and continue into the evening hours. Total rainfall amounts near 25 mm are expected by Wednesday evening.

Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
