The venue is Chippawa Park’s maintenance building, located at First Avenue and Fitch Street. If you can’t place it, look for the serpentine line of gardeners waiting for the free giveaway to start. In previous years, that lineup has been huge. You can’t miss it.
Distribution will be by horticultural staff of the parks section.
Varieties, colours and quantities are limited and will be distributed on a first-come basis. The limit is two dozen bulbs per resident. If you go, be sure to bring a container with you in which to carry them home. The time is 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. But remember: absolutely no bulbs will be released before 8 a.m.
