Gadabout Gardener

DSC_0909

Meet old orange daylily or common daylily (Hemerocallis fulva) which is found in abundance this time of year. It graces many front (and back) gardens or grows in fields or along roadsides- because they are extremely hardy they will grow almost anywhere. And as one admirer says: they sure beautify the environment. These were spotted along Quaker Road in Welland. (Gadabout Gardener is a recurring feature on the blog. Photos by Joe Barkovich)
