WELLAND – Notre Dame College School’s 41st annual Pilgrimage for the Developing World takes place Sunday, Oct. 30.

Candlelight service in the gym,  part of last year’s pilgrimage Eucharist.

The Pilgrimage is an opportunity for the school community (students, teachers, parents, friends and alumni) to “put their feet to the Gospel” by walking in solidarity with those from the developing world who are less fortunate.

Over the years, Notre Dame has raised over $2 million through this event for development projects throughout the world. From the pilgrimage we learn that Canadian Christians are abundantly blessed – we have the ability and the means to respond to the poor.

The Notre Dame community invites and encourages alumni and friends to be a part of this family tradition. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Departure prayer is at 9 a.m. Pilgrimage Eucharist is at approximately 1 p.m.

Please support Notre Dame students. And if you can’t be there, please consider a donation which can be made online at www.notredamewelland.com or to a student in your parish.
