WELLAND – The tradition continues.

The Parish Community of St. Kevin hosts its 19th annual Distinguished Speaker Night on Monday, Nov. 21 commencing at 7 p.m.

This year’s guest is Catholic educator Paul Beaudette.

Beaudette will speak on “How the Church’s Best-Kept Secret Is Being Divulged in Catholic Schools.”

Beaudette joins a long list of speakers from diverse backgrounds who have come to the parish with timely and engaging messages. A handful of previous speakers include:  theologian and author Mary Jo Leddy, humanitarian and human rights activist Colleen Malone, former Globe and Mail feature writer Michael Valpy, former Toronto Star columnist Joe Fiorito, social justice activist and scripture scholar Fr. Bill Ryan, SJ and last year’s guest, Joe Gunn of Citizens for Public Justice.

Distinguished Speaker Night is held in Delaney Hall, the downstairs parish hall.

Following the address, a question and answer period will be held.
