We are looking for strong leaders with diverse backgrounds to reflect the demographics of our service area which includes both the City of Welland and the Town of Pelham. We are recruiting applicants with previous board and volunteer experience and would like to have representation from corporate, public sector and non-profit sectors. Particular skill sets include human resources, health and safety, finance, fundraising and marketing backgrounds.
Youth representatives interested in joining our Board who have a passion for history, must be 18 years of age or older and residing or working in the City of Welland or the Town of Pelham.
The term of appointment is three years with possible renewal for a second three-year term.
The Board meets a minimum of 10 times per year on the 4th Wednesday of the month for approximately 2 hours.
The Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
