Snowfall Could Be ‘Heavy’ This Evening

Snowfall warning in effect for:
Niagara Falls – Welland – Southern Niagara Region
St. Catharines – Grimsby – Northern Niagara Region
Snowfall of 15 to 20 is expected tonight.

snowSnow is moving into the region as expected and will be heavy at times this evening before tapering off overnight. Motorists and commuters should plan for challenging road conditions for the commute this evening, and allow extra time to reach their destination.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
